To blog or not to blog! Zat is ze question.../ my sister Skye

After much deliberation I have decided it was unfair of me to read Shan and Alisons blogs (and I must admit I snuck a looky at Tanyas too... haha) and leave all of these comments behind on their blog page and not give them the same opportunity.

Now I aint no teacher, and I dont have no good english skills... so hold on tight, and bear with me as I struggle my way through getting my thoughts down on paper (or screen for that matter)...

I tend to ramble and make a 5 minute conversation into quite an animated 30 minute conversation in "real life", so one can only imagine how this blog page is going to go... like i said, bear with me!!! Ill do my best xxx

I was never good at keeping a diary as a child.
I really liked the idea that you would have this lovely pink little book that you could go to every day and write down your thoughts and hide it so that nobody could ever find it..
Now, in reality, that was never going to work in my house. My sister (aka Skye) could sniff out anything and everything that was juicy and it would end up in her hot little hands before you knew it...

To digress slightly from the blog/diary concept (I warned you this would happen...), I would like to talk more about Skye and her sniffing out skills...

Skye had this uncanny talent that drove the Forrester household absolutely mad!
Mum would buy sweets and hide them from us. She had all sorts of hiding places that i knew nothing about and would wonder about for many hours.
This wasnt the case for dear ol Skye. I would walk into the laundry and she was up on the washing machine wobbling about trying to open the tumble dryer to get to the new sweeties mum had hidden there just minutes before... how did she do it?

Skye was also good at sniffing out treats in the supermarket. Mum would be singing out to find out where she was and before she knew it this voice would carry out "Im under here". Low and behold there she was under the shelves eating dusty sweets from broken bags... sounds revolting but i was so jealous that she had found these little treasures..

Skye's talents continued into teenage years when she "sniffed" out our brother (Brants) dope plant in the back shed!....

Luckily I dont live with Skye anymore and I can hide things better... I could probably start a diary now.... hence, the beginning of the blog... i plan on sending her the link to my blog so she can read all about it..

Well, I think I have done what i set out to do, with only a minor digression...
Enjoy reading, apologies in advance poor not proper english, rambling etc...
